Expected Salary: $17.50/hour shift differential, depending upon assigned shift
What’s Expected of the Recycle position?
- Operate shredder and grinders to recycle lineal and die flop scrap from Production.
- Operate pulverizers to efficiently respond to Materials regrind needs.
- Fill gaylords with various materials from a variety of sources (pulverizers, silos, bags)
- Transport gaylords of powder/regrind material to and from extruder lines or other designated areas.
- Drive forklift to perform work tasks – tow/pull cards, move gaylords, etc., throughout the plant.
- Keep area clean and organized (clean floors, machines)
- Adhere to established standard operating procedures, and safety guidelines.
What you bring:
- Previous industrial manufacturing experience, preferred.
- Previous forklift certification, preferred.
- Good computer proficiency with the ability to log into systems and enter data timely and accurately.
- Good ability to read and understand weights and measures.
- Good detail orientation, with the ability to review work for accuracy.
- Good basic math skills.
- Ability to perform the physical functions of the job.
Experience
Preferred- 1 year(s): Forklift operation experience
- 1 year(s): Industrial manufacturing experience
Education
Preferred- High School or better
