Job Description:
The Logistics Manager will oversee traffic/logistics planning and transportation arrangements for domestic and international shipments. This role requires expertise in US and international shipping regulations, carrier communication, and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with new commerce rules and regulations
- Maintain oversight of traffic functions in multiple locations
- Initiate safeguards to protect shipments from loading point to destination
- Supervise the shipping dock, ensuring products are properly received and shipped
- Create daily shipping end-of-day reports and distribute them
Required Skills:
- 5 years of experience in shipping, logistics, leadership in the manufacturing industry
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or Business (preferred)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Knowledge of NMFC numbering system
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
