ETL Test Lead-Dallas, TX(Hybrid)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage ETL testing efforts for Talend-based data integration projects.
- Develop test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ETL processes.
- Perform data validation, transformation testing, reconciliation, and end-to-end testing of ETL pipelines.
- Design and execute SQL queries to validate data accuracy and completeness.
- Implement automation testing frameworks for ETL validation and data verification.
- Identify, document, and track defects in collaboration with development teams.
- Optimize ETL performance and ensure data integrity across different environments.
- Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and QA teams to understand requirements and define testing scope.
- Conduct root cause analysis of data discrepancies and work towards resolution.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills & Experience:
- at least 2 years in Talend.
- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data validation (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of ETL concepts, data warehousing, and data migration strategies.
- Hands-on experience in Talend Data Integration & Talend Data Quality tools.
- Experience in test automation frameworks for ETL testing (e.g., Selenium, Python, Informatica DVO, etc.).
- Expertise in data profiling, transformation logic, and reconciliation testing.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
