PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Performs semi-skilled duties of assembly, disassembly and test of products, SPF and WUR receiving, and Quality Control duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING. OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED.
- Maintain cooperative, diplomatic working relationships with co-workers, supervisor, and the local community.
- Work as part of the team and collaborate with co-workers and colleagues.
- Responsible for reading, understanding and following all Work Instructions (WI’s) for each function performed.
- Works in compliance with safety and all other training.
- Adheres to and supports QMN’s Corporate Policies and Procedures.
- Disassembles and/or reassembles units according to the applicable work instructions.
- Orders correct parts using the proper procedures.
- Places and removes units from hold status.
- Tests units according to work instructions
- Runs initial and RMA testing to insure unit was repaired effectively.
- Review BIOS commands to ensure correct set up. Makes corrections as necessary.
- Tests motherboards and ensures board is at the latest revision level.
- Receives whole units and spare parts.
- Responsible for inspecting products to ensure it is labeled correctly.
- Responsible for completing applicable paperwork completely and accurately.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment by identifying all safety hazards and recommending corrective actions when necessary.
- Responsible for utilizing proper lifting and material movement techniques at all times.
- Actively works to improve processes in the company.
- Performs other duties as directed by management
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- One (1) year experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- One year of experience in an industrial environment.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Computer literate in a Windows Environment and Internet.
- Basic math skills.
- Accurate counting skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Good organizational skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
