PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The EHS Specialist will be responsible for organizing and facilitating the flow of documentation that will require processing, tracking, filing, and the coordination of technical documents, information and records across disciplines and departments within Quanta. This position will represent the EHS department on the production and warehouse floors across all buildings during the performance of their essential duties and responsibilities. This position will be responsible for assessing and delivering the needed EHS materials and equipment in support of shop floor activities. Additionally, this position may be responsible for vendors who are providing EHS program support.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain and Track documentation for various EHS programs.
- Participate in root cause investigations.
- Facilitate communication meetings.
- Conduct EHS training.
- Perform EHS audits and inspections.
- Perform EHS occupational assessments.
- Assist in developing EHS programs.
- Support shop floor needs of EHS materials and equipment.
- Maintain documents for building safety bulletin boards and Quanta TVs.
- Support customer requested EHS actions.
- Be the point of contact for EHS related vendors.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree and 3 years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience within an RBA or ISO certified organization.
- Proficiency and familiarity with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Detail oriented and the ability to read technical documents and regulatory information.
- Though infrequent, applicants must be able to respond for emergency calls 24 hours a day for safety concerns.
