PURPOSE OF POSITION:
To plan and manage the overall service and warehouse activities for the service business. Directs and coordinates activities of service technicians and warehouse staff in product repair.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implements and maintains a repair process that complies with established internal documentation.
- Responsible for managing, directing, and coordinating the activities of the service staff. Plans service operation, establishing priorities and sequences for repairing products.
- Ensures products are repaired according to company standards as outlined in Work Instructions.
- Coordinates service activities to insure quantity and quality of products meets established specifications.
- Ensures service and warehouse employees have been trained on and understand each Work Instruction for their function(s).
- Ensures service and warehouse employees have timely job specific and safety training to perform their duties.

Ensures all required documentation for service, warehouse, training, etc. is completed timely and accurately.
- Directs the workflow in the Service and Warehouse departments and schedules work hours for assigned to employees.
- Responsible for performing all supervisory functions of hiring, evaluating, disciplining and approving employee-related transactions.
- Collects, monitors and maintains performance metrics.
- Support the development and improvement of process for service lines, warehouses and other service operations.
- Follows all Quality System and ISO requirements
- Maintains a safe work environment through safety training for employees, identifying hazards in the work place and correcting them, and providing discipline, when necessary, for violation of Company safety rules.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment by identifying all safety hazards and recommending corrective actions when necessary.
- Responsible for ensuring all Service and Warehouse employees are utilizing proper lifting and material movement techniques at all times.

Responsible for ensuring all work related injuries are reported to Human Resources.
- Adheres to and supports Quanta’s Corporate Policies and Procedures.
- Actively works to improve processes in the company and its relationship to the community.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Two (2) to Five (5) years experience in a high technical service/repair, electronic manufacturing environment.
- Minimum two (2) years supervisory experience.
- Previous experience in an electronic service environment preferred.
- Experience in writing procedures according to applicable regulations.
- Training and/or experience implementing manufacturing and/ or service.
- B.S. degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Production and Operations Management or related field preferred.
- Certificate in manufacturing or process improvement helpful.
- Ability to read, write and speak English.
SAFTY
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment by identifying all safety hazards and recommending corrective actions when necessary.
- Responsible for ensuring all Service Operations area employees are utilizing proper lifting and material movement techniques at all time.
- Responsible for reporting all work related injuries to Human Resources.
SUPERVISION
- Responsible for training employees in the performance of their jobs and providing feed back.
- Responsible for performing all supervisory functions of hiring, evaluation, disciplining and approving employee-related transactions.

DIRECTION RECEIVED
- Works under the administrative direction of the Service Operations Manager. (Performs assignments/duties within broad parameters defined by general organizational requirements and accepted practices).

- Technical troubleshooting and repair skills for notebook computers or similar products.
