- Conducting IQC involves checking pallets for possible damage, unloading them, and rewrapping them with stretch wrap.
- Taking pictures and entering all observations into proper folders with attached emails.
- For damaged material (DMR), gathering all relevant information such as BOL#, PO, and description of damage.
- Labeling DMR with ID form and including a copy of BOL, moving material to a designated cage along with pictures.
- Sending out email responses with PASS or FAIL status and providing explanations if necessary.
- Moving high-value items to inspection locations to ensure correct count in partial boxes, taking pictures for folders and IQC audit log.
- Sending emails with PASS or FAIL status and additional pictures if required.
- Conducting outbound audits for shipping across warehouse locations; providing detailed information in emails.
- Checking all materials to ensure they are properly secured and packed correctly for shipping out of the building.
- Taking pictures for folders and logging detailed information on any issues encountered.
- Sorting items brought by QA Engineers needing inspection for particular issues from production lines to prevent shutdowns.
- Gathering information and addressing production issues, providing counts of good and bad materials daily, and updating work progress.
- Inspecting materials from other areas needing IQC inspection due to damage from drops or forklifts, required for FAB lines.
- Maintaining cleanliness and safety: conducting 5S in IQC area, frequently clearing docks of broken pallets, nails, and trash. Also taping off floors, cleaning spider webs, sweeping, mopping floors, cleaning desks, and keeping all materials locked and ready for use.
- Removing CPUs from motherboards and checking for bent pins.
- Inspecting damaged chips for bent pins and defects that would cause them to fail.
