Overview
The Transportation Supervisor is responsible for organizing and coordinating transportation for individuals, groups, or material. They ensure that transportation operations run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. They'll manage the daily movement of our fleet of trucks oversee our drivers and ensure on time delivery of materials across our 5 local sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule transportation routes for individuals, groups, or cargo
- Coordinate transportation activities with drivers, dispatchers, and other transportation personnel
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
- Monitor transportation logistics to ensure on-time delivery and minimize delays
- Address and resolve transportation-related issues and emergencies
- Maintain transportation records and documentation, including invoices and bills of lading
