The EHS Manager will oversee the organization’s Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This individual will lead efforts to manage, improve, and execute EHS policies, procedures, and programs across all facilities. The EHS Manager will also be responsible for implementing safety training, reporting, and ensuring the overall health and safety of employees.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the organization’s EHS infrastructure, ensuring effective and compliant safety practices.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve EHS policies, procedures, and best practices to maintain compliance and promote a safe working environment.
- Ensure facility-wide EHS standards are met and continuously updated in line with regulatory changes.
- Take managerial and administrative responsibility for cross-functional EHS operations, leading initiatives for safety, health, and environmental programs.
- Provide leadership in hazard communication, ensuring proper labeling, storage, handling, and safety data sheets (SDS) for chemicals and hazardous materials.
- Direct the identification, implementation, and training of EHS procedures and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local EHS laws and regulations, ensuring that company policies, procedures, objectives, and goals reflect compliance requirements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all safety-related issues, establishing and maintaining safety programs, and ensuring proper record-keeping for safety training, OSHA 300 logs, and regulatory documentation.
- Monitor, report, and improve key EHS performance metrics, ensuring the organization's long-term commitment to safety and environmental sustainability.
- Lead and oversee internal and external EHS audits, inspections, and investigations.
- Collaborate with leadership and various departments to integrate EHS goals into overall company strategy.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other relevant software.
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA standards, NFPA, IBC, and other applicable EHS regulations.
- Practical understanding of ISO 14064-1 and GHG emissions management.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to develop, implement, and track EHS programs across multiple locations.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams and stakeholders in safety practices.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities in EHS-related issues.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS), Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as OSHA, First-Aid, or other EHS-related credentials preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in EHS management or related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in managing large-scale safety programs across diverse operations is a plus.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
