What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate 2 - B7 - 1st shift 7:00am - 3:30pm - Hammonds position at Quanta Manufacturing Nashville, LLC?
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Meet the daily order deadline by efficiently transferring and compiling parts according to a system-generated pick list. Ensure parts are kitted, labeled and packaged according to specification.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
- Responsible for reading, understanding and following work instructions pertaining to the tasks of picking and kitting.
- Pick and prepare parts in an efficient manner, meeting internal incremental deadlines.
- Responsible for completing any applicable paperwork or QMS updates completely and accurately.
- Actively work to improve processes.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment and for complying with all safety standards and guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Prior experience in a warehouse or shipping environment a plus.
