Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and maintain inventory accuracy across all locations.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory levels align with business needs and reconcile discrepancies.
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with supply chain, operations, and procurement teams to forecast inventory needs and optimize stock levels.
- Prepare and present inventory reports and metrics to key stakeholders.
- Identify and address inventory-related issues, such as shortages, overstocking, or obsolescence.
- Utilize inventory management systems to track, update, and manage stock.
- Recommend process improvements to reduce costs and enhance overall inventory control performance.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in inventory management.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in inventory management, supply chain, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret large data sets.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and software, such as SAP or Oracle.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to addressing inventory challenges.
- Familiarity with supply chain processes and logistics.
- Advanced certifications such as APICS (Association for Supply Chain Management) or CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management).
- Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or distribution environment.
