PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The Warehouse Operator 1 DMR Lead is responsible for leading day-to-day activities of the DMR Warehouse and part runner employees. This person will be responsible for tracking and leading daily output of the DMR Warehouse, reporting results and issues to the Quality Coordinator and other necessary members, and pushing for DMR part delivery TAT.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Delegates and executes work assignments to/with DMR Warehouse employees
- Liaison with materials team, PE team, and Warehouse team
- Control of physical inventory in the DMR Warehouse area
- Manage incoming material verification and receipt into SAP/QWMS
- Escalates to Quality Coordinator/needed team when necessary
- Help to ensure proper receipt and transactions
- Ensure timely execution of cycle counts as well as timely resolution to issues identified during cycle counting.
- Monitor all components are being delivered in a timely fashion, and escalating any aging issues/DMRs waiting for parts
- Execute inventory transactions in SAP and QWMS systems, as well as needed repair tool systems
- Maintain all housekeeping and safety standards.
- Help Quality Coordinator to instruct and train all DMR Warehouse personnel in proper procedures and regulations, ensuring appropriate documentation is completed.
- Motivate employees through effective communication.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Must have a minimum 1-2 years lead experience in a warehouse or quality setting and a minimum of 1-2 years of shipping, receiving and inventory control experience, or related experience
- Must have ERP system experience, SAP experience a plus.
- Must be proficient with Word, Excel, and Outlook
- QWMS internal system experience a plus
- High school diploma required.
