Position Summary:
The Learning and Development Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Learning and Development Manager to execute and enhance targeted training and organizational development initiatives, including new hire training, career development, leadership enhancement, and workforce optimization. This pivotal role assists with driving individual growth and contributes significantly to Quanta’s overall success.
Essential Functions
- Training Program Development: Collaborate with the L&D Manager, department managers and subject matter experts to identify training needs and assist in developing comprehensive training programs in both English and Spanish. These programs should cater to a diverse audience, including employees with varying skill levels and backgrounds.
- Training Delivery: Conduct engaging and informative training sessions using various delivery methods, including in-person workshops, virtual webinars, and e-learning platforms. Ensure that the training content is delivered effectively and aligns with the learning objectives.
- Multilingual Facilitation: As a Training Coordinator, facilitate training sessions in both English and Spanish, ensuring clear and accurate communication to all participants.
- Training Materials: Create and update training materials, such as presentations, handouts, and multimedia content, in both languages, to support the training programs.
- Training Evaluation: Assist with monitoring and assessing the effectiveness of training programs through evaluations and feedback. Continuously improve training content and methods based on the feedback received.
- Onboarding Support: Assist in the onboarding process by providing training and orientation to new hires, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in their roles.
- Learning Management System (LMS): Utilize the company's LMS to manage and track training progress, maintain training records, and generate reports on training metrics.
- Training Logistics: Organize training schedules, venues, and necessary resources to ensure smooth training delivery.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in relevant field or High School Diploma with relevant experience required.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience training in a production/manufacturing environment preferred.
- Bilingual Proficiency: Fluent in both English and Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking) to effectively deliver training content and communicate with employees in their preferred language.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills in both languages (English and Spanish), with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and understandable manner.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management abilities to manage multiple training programs simultaneously.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to establish positive working relationships with colleagues and effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt training approaches and materials to suit diverse learning styles and needs.
- Tech-Savviness: Proficiency in using learning management systems, e-learning platforms, and multimedia tools.
- Cultural Awareness: Appreciation and understanding of cultural nuances in a diverse workplace.
- Training Experience: Experience with training program evaluation, adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies is a plus.
