Job Summary:
A New Product Introduction (NPI) Manufacturing Program Manager (MPM) requires management and implementation of specific customer accounts and/or programs. Responsible for driving the operational execution of programs, cost, changes and processes. Develop and drive the schedule and resources to make the projects successfully.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Work with multi-function teams to ensure everything is ready before the NPI build starts from QTMS
- Provide status update of all NPI activities to customers and HQ
- Ensure everything is ready (fixture/SOP/Shopfloor/etc) before the build starts at QMF
- Monitor build progress, keep station to station moving without delay during the NPI build at QMF
- Highlight any build gating issues or delay immediately report to QCI team or on-site support team
- Ensure the debug or repair actions instructed by QCI can be executed in reasonable time and update status on daily basis
- Host customer’s visiting to the factory
- Track FAI and TAT during the NPI Build at QMF
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of/ Experience in/ Proficiency in server/storage/PC products
- Proven ability to lead the transition of NPI projects into production and ensure objectives, goals, and commitments are met
- Sufficient level of technical background to effectively collaborate with development and engineering, testing and Quality teams and to be able to evaluate the project risks and issues
- Experience overseeing multi-function projects with team members, including Design engineering, Business team, Process engineers, QA engineers and manufacturing team
- Good command of the English language (verbal and written) and can confidently communicate with customers and stakeholders within a business setting
- Familiar with Project Management tools
Education and Experience
- BS in Electrical Engineering
- At least 3 years in Engineering associated with Project Management
