About this Role
The ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Developer is responsible for design, development, testing, maintenance, and support of the ETL and integration solutions.
What You'll Do
- The ETL Developer is responsible for design, development, testing, maintenance, and support of ETL and integration solutions.
- Utilizes best practices to select and design the interface architecture.
- Designs and develops relational data models.
- Analyzes data sources and targets data models.
- Develops scalable, reusable ETL jobs using selected ETL tool for an engagement.
- Creates and maintains technical design documentation.
- Identifies data quality issues and supports the data governance initiative by participating in governance activities.
- Oversees the development and maintenance of technical and process documentation.
- Works together with the Architects, Developers, Project Managers, and other Boomi Developers to achieve common goals.
- Works closely with end-users, functional leads and PMs to understand the integration requirements and develops integrated data driven solutions.
- Communicates with end-users and managers on progress of projects, issue resolution, and make sure that all are aware of updates and changes being made to the software.
- Tests application software to assure accuracy, integrity and completeness to achieve desired results.
- Recognizes processing and programming inefficiencies and recommends improvements.
- Documents design specifications, troubleshoots and testing.
- Actively involved with requirement understanding and analysis.
- Adheres to internal standards, policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Required Education and Experience
- Associate degree in the computer science and minimum 3 – 5 years of experience.
- 4 years of experience with implementing and ETL integrations using technologies like Dell Boomi, Microsoft SSIS, Informatica Power Center, Mulesoft, etc.
- 2 years of experience in designing solutions for high volume transactional orders; 2 years in design and development of integrations supporting master data and business intelligence applications.

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science is preferred and years of experience mentioned above.
- Preferred direct experience with Dell Boomi.
