We are seeking for our client, a large international investment bank, an experienced IT Business Analyst with in-depth knowledge of Summit and expertise in Fixed Income to join a dynamic IT team supporting front-to-back-office processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders (traders, sales, operations, etc.) to gather, define, and document business requirements.
- Draft detailed functional specifications for development teams.
- Develop and execute user test cases; coordinate go-live processes and validate system behavior.
- Scope and manage projects, report progress, and identify risks or issues.
- Deployment of new instruments.
- Optimization of PnL, Hedge, and market data workflows.
- Enhancement of settlement, confirmation, and clearing processes.
- Implementation of regulatory reporting and data quality initiatives.
- Addressing and improving business operation irregularities and methodologies.
- Provide efficient resolution of daily issues related to Summit functionalities (e.g., booking, pricing, market data, STP, settlements, reporting, etc.).
- Monitor trade workflows and ensure accurate regulatory and statement reporting.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT business analysis roles within the financial sector.
- Extensive expertise in Summit, with familiarity in Fixed Income, Treasury, and Credit products.
- Knowledge of Summit's STP processes for front-office and back-office workflows, including cashflows, accounting, operations, and settlements.
- Strong IT skills: experience with SQL queries (Sybase, Oracle, SQL Server), and familiarity with Windows/Unix scripting (Bash, Perl, Python).
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with C , C#, Python, XML, XSLT, or Excel VBA is a plus.
Salary : $120,000 - $160,000
