We are looking for a Front-End .NET Developer to join a global team supporting an electronic trading platform for Fixed Income products. You will work with a dynamic team to support high-frequency trading for bonds, swaps, futures, repos, and other interest rate products across major global trading venues.
As the main UI developer in NYC, you will collaborate with trading desks, developers, and business teams to build scalable, low-latency solutions. The platform is critical to trading workflows and supports over 120 traders and 100 salespeople, ensuring quick responses to trading and pricing requests.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain front-end .NET / WPF components for the electronic trading platform.
- Work closely with traders and sales teams to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Focus on platform performance, scalability, and security while ensuring reliability under high load conditions.
- Collaborate with global teams (London, Mumbai, Paris) to deliver solutions on time and in line with business objectives.
- Contribute to the DevOps process for continuous integration, testing, and deployment.
- Document new features and provide training for internal support teams.
- Promote knowledge sharing and ensure adherence to development best practices.
Skills & Experience
- 5 years of experience in .NET WPF development in a high-frequency trading environment.
- Experience with electronic trading workflows for Fixed Income products, such as bonds, swaps, and futures.
- Ability to work independently and effectively with front-office teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Strong knowledge of performance optimization, low-latency programming, and scalable architecture.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools like Jenkins, BitBucket, and Gradle.
Nice-to-Have:
- Exposure to Java for modifying backend components.
- Experience with WinForms or HTML5.
- Familiarity with ION MarketView and electronic trading venues (e.g., Bloomberg, Tradeweb, MTS).
- Knowledge of financial products like bonds, swaps, and futures.
