Overview:
Our client, a prominent global financial institution, is seeking a dedicated FX eTrading Support Specialist to strengthen their electronic trading operations. This dynamic role includes maintaining eTrading systems, optimizing performance, and delivering top-tier support to users worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Provide first and second-line support for electronic trading platforms, ensuring efficient and uninterrupted operations.
- Monitor trade flows, troubleshoot execution issues, and resolve Straight-Through Processing (STP) discrepancies.
- Manage static data, including counterparties and currencies, and oversee system configurations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to address platform-related issues and implement enhancements.
- Handle incident resolution, system releases, and testing for new updates.
- Contribute to project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Maintain operational excellence by documenting procedures, improving service quality, and adhering to regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in Front Office support
- In-depth understanding of FX products, including spot, forwards, and options, with hands-on experience in eTrading platforms.
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux, SQL, and Windows environments for system analysis and troubleshooting.
- Proven track record in front office application support within financial markets, particularly in FX trading.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with incident management frameworks and project coordination.
Salary : $110,000 - $180,000
