Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It:
As our Production Control Analyst extraordinaire, your job is to unleash your superhuman abilities and ensure the smooth flow of production operations. You’ll work alongside some of the sharpest minds in the RF and microwave industry. Oh, and did we mention that you'll be based in the heart of Austin, Texas, where the tech scene is as hot as our BBQ?
Here's What You'll Be Doing:
· Generate and manage work orders in alignment with production schedules and customer requirements.
· Review and process Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), ensuring updates are accurately reflected in production documentation.
· Input and maintain accurate data within the Global Shop Solutions ERP system.
· Verify material availability for production jobs, collaborating with purchasing and inventory teams to address shortages or delays.
· Work closely with program managers to prioritize and track project timelines and deliverables.
· Create and distribute production and on-demand reports, providing actionable insights to relevant stakeholders.
· Monitor job progress, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure production deadlines are met.
· Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and proposing process enhancements.
· Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
What We're Looking for in Our Production Control Analyst:
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in production control, manufacturing, or a similar role (electronics manufacturing experience is a plus).
· Proficiency with ERP systems (Global Shop Solutions preferred), Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
· Familiarity with electronics manufacturing processes and materials management is a plus.
· Knowledge of engineering change processes (ECNs/ECOs) and inventory management is preferred.
Skills & Qualifications You Need:
· High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, manufacturing, or related field preferred.
· Detail-oriented, enjoy problem-solving, and have a passion for optimizing production processes
· You've got skills in written and verbal communication.
· You're self-motivated, a multitasking wizard, and detail-oriented like a hawk.
· Prioritization is your middle name, and you thrive in high-pressure situations.
· You play well with others and are a logical thinker, always ready to tackle customer challenges.
