Position Summary

We are seeking a driven Pharmacist with an active Florida license to serve as Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) for our newly established Mail Order Pharmacy. In addition to overseeing day-to-day pharmacy operations, you will be required to obtain licensure in multiple states following employment. We’re specifically looking for candidates with a proven record of high scores on licensure exams—recent graduates or early-career pharmacists who excel at standardized testing are encouraged to apply. This is an ideal role for someone eager to manage a national pharmacy footprint while continuing to expand their professional credentials. You will collaborate with experienced professionals, ensuring prompt and accurate prescription fulfillment for patients in all 50 states.

Key Responsibilities

• Pharmacist in Charge Duties: Oversee Mail Order Pharmacy operations to ensure full compliance with state and federal regulations; serve as the primary point of contact with regulatory bodies.
• Prescription Processing & Verification: Fill and verify orders with strict adherence to pharmacy guidelines and patient safety protocols.
• Patient Support & Education: Provide counseling on proper medication use, potential side effects, and safety measures.
• Regulatory Compliance: Maintain detailed records in line with HIPAA and other pharmacy regulations.
• Licensure Exam Success: Demonstrate strong exam performance for additional state licensures; prepare and pass required exams to expand pharmacy operations nationwide.
• Workflow Optimization: Contribute innovative ideas to improve efficiency, service quality, and data-driven decision-making across the mail-order operation.

Qualifications

• Active Florida Pharmacist License (required).
• Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Proven Exam Track Record: Demonstrated high scores on licensure exams or equivalent credentials, indicating an ability to pass additional state exams promptly.
• Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Ability to clearly advise patients and collaborate with internal teams.
