Responsibilities
A successful person will be responsible for various functions involved in the management of our private equity long/short hedge fund, including:
- Oversee our third party Middle and Back-office services team
- Conduct monthly approvals: Recons/NAV, investor statements
- Help facilitate Prime Brokerage administrative requests
- Lead annual audit and tax work for the Fund as assisted by our third party service.
- Manage ad-hoc projects (e.g. shadow accounting process improvements)
- Review and approve monthly expense allocations.
- Review and approve cash wire directions.
- Review and approve HedgeServ capital activity reports
- Monitoring expense ratios
- Act as primary contact for our RIA wealth manager clients investing in the fund on behalf of their clients.
- Assist with onboarding clients to the fund administrator’s investor portal for online sub-docs processing
- Act as primary client service officer for any client questions
- Act as primary internal contact for the fund Administrator, HedgeServ
- Liase with our HedgeServ relationship manager
- Coordinate and confirming monthly capital activity
- Approving monthly side letter lists
- Reviewing any contractual changes to SLA
- Maintain approved Fund vendor list / SSI’s
- Maintain approved access persons list
- Obtain annual SOC 2 certification for Optima’s compliance vendor due diligence
- Maintaining performance reporting
- Confirming monthly updates by Windstream on internal performance tracking
- Updating HFR database monthly
- Regulatory
- Liaise with external counsel on monthly blue-sky filings
- Liaise with external counsel on annual Reg D filing
- Assist COO with supplying data for fund related items in our ADV updates.
- Maintain our LEI identifiers with Bloomberg
- 3 years’ experience in asset management industry serving hedge fund clients
- Experienced in Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce
