We are looking for a Quantum Control Systems Engineer to lead the system design and implementation of the control systems for our next-generation quantum computers at our Broomfield, CO location. For this role, we are seeking someone with expertise in deploying complex, multi-model control and data acquisition systems with applications in quantum computing or quantum science. This could include expertise with electromagnetic noise mitigation techniques, software engineering, and automation. Ideal candidates will have prior experience developing and integrating systems for controlling quantum computers, ion traps, atomic clocks, or other quantum science apparatus. They will also be comfortable working with multi-disciplinary teams including mechanical, electrical, and optical engineers, to unify the control of a variety of subsystems into a cohesive whole.

Key Responsibilities :
- Design, integrate, and test hardware assemblies and software systems for use in quantum computing or quantum science applications
- Define and communicate quantum computer system requirements with a focus on control systems
- Architect and implement software libraries to monitor and control ion trap operations and calibrations
- Work closely with an integrated team of scientists, engineers, and technicians to translate system requirements and designs into functional hardware and software
- Engage with 3rd parties to cultivate possible key partnerships, supplier relationships, and co-development opportunities
