We are seeking a Strategic Sourcing Lead in our Broomfield, CO Location. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage supplier relationships, selection, and performance and SOW, RFP and RFI creation and processes
- Manage supplier agreements, including developing and negotiating contract language
- Establish and drive Sourcing of direct and indirect materials and services in alignment with business leadership per Annual Operating Plan and Integrated Strategic Plan
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with business objectives including early sourcing engagement, alignment on key sourcing objectives and effective execution of sourcing projects
- Influence and manage category and strategies including spend analysis, benchmarking, cost, market analysis and global technology and economic trends
- Manage and mitigate supplier risk, including reporting on supplier performance
- Assist in developing Sourcing policies and procedures, and process improvements ensuring compliance to requirements and organizational change management
- Improve working capital through negotiating best possible total cost of ownership including payment terms extensions, payment cycle optimization, supplier financed improvements and lead time reductions
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 3 years’ Experience in Sourcing
- Minimum of 3 years’ Experience negotiating contracts
- Due to Contractual requirements, must be a U.S. Person. defined as, U.S. citizen permanent resident or green card holder, workers granted asylum or refugee status
- Due to national security requirements imposed by the U.S. Government, candidates for this position must not be a People's Republic of China national or Russian national unless the candidate is also a U.S. citizen.
- Demonstratable ability to read, write and negotiate supplier agreements
- Experience in creating and managing RFIs and RFPs
- Ability to think strategically and plan for both short-term and long-term results
- Willingness to challenge the status quo
- Proactive engagement with stakeholders and suppliers
- Ability to work independently and make decisions within an environment of change and uncertainty
- Experience working in and/or leading a team
- Project Management and/or Contract Management Experience
- Good communication skills
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting contracts and understanding how contractual provisions impact risk
- Professional Certifications in Project/Supply Chain/ Procurement/Contract Management
- Demonstrated business and financial acumen
- Experience with SAP or site relevant ERP systems, E Sourcing Platforms, Request for Quotation Tools, Project Management Tools
- Experience with Six Sigma and Lean Tools
