Job summary

The Billing Analyst generates invoicing for all billable activity in the liquid and bulk divisions. Ensure all invoicing is processed following A&R Logistics and/or Customer guidelines. Maintain strict verification process to ensure all loads are billed accurately and in a timely manner.

Summary of essential job functions

• This job includes the following duties and any other as assigned by current manager:
• Generate invoicing for services rendered and verify all services provided are included on the invoice at the appropriate rate.
• Answer ; Resolve any customer inquiries regarding billing.
• Conduct weekly audits to ensure billing is accurate and complete.
• Complete month end billing according to A&R guidelines.
• Ensure all notifications are sent to the Customer on-time Research ; Resolve invoices short paid.
• Provide assistance to other members of billing team when needed Identify ; follow-thru on any completed inbounds/packaging work orders that cannot be billed due to missing rate information.
• Receive ; Review all completed pre-packaged inbounds/packaging work orders for accuracy according to A&R guidelines.

Minimum requirements

• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Good time management skills.
• Capable of maintaining a high level of confidentiality
• Ability to deal effectively with people.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Self motivated and able to work with little direction while under general supervision.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Accountability for areas of responsibility

Preferred requirements

• 2-3 years in a high-volume billing environment
• Accounting experience
