Description
Machine Operator is to maintain safe packaging and maintain guidelines and company policies while performing job duties.
Minimum Requirements:
Adhere to all packaging standards, operate all equipment in a safely and in accordance with all site safety rules, follow all quality standards set by both the customer and Quantix Logistics. processes.
- Operate and maintain GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and 5S methodology.
- Manage and maintain waste and general trash accumulated from the warehouse packaging and material handling operation.
- Operate with quality assurance in adherence to Kuraray EVAL QMS standards and requirements.
- Packaging Operations: 24 hours /7 days a week /365 day a year.
- Shift schedule is a 3,2,2,3, modified Du-Pont schedule, work 3-days, off 2-days, work 2-days, off 3-days, you will work 15-days on straight days and 15-days on straight nights.
- Overtime available as needed, plant feed rates will dictate the need for overtime coverage, ALL operators are subject to being scheduled for overtime at the Warehouse Supervisor/Site Manager’s discretion. al
- Ability to walk, climb, crouch, bend, ascend/descend stairs potentially multiple time a shift.
- Ability to work in hot and cold climates, stand for long periods of time.
- Basic understanding of motors, pneumatic systems, HMI screens and valves, must have the basic ability to troubleshoot machine or component issues that may arise during your shift, further understanding of how to troubleshoot equipment issues will be taught progressively on a case-by-case basis.
- Must be able to show/demonstrate the ability to operate a forklift, ALL machine operators will be required to obtain a forklift certification and will be required to operate a forklift safely and efficiently as part of a machine operator’s basic duties.
- Must have the ability to understand basic math daily as required by the assigned paperwork distributed by the team lead each day.
- Must be able to multi-task and maintain focus in a fast-paced work environment.
