Job Description
The Financial Analyst will report to the Director of Finance and is responsible for compiling and analyzing financial information to assist with management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, strategic planning and analysis.
Job Requirements
- Heavily involved in the preparation and consolidation of the Annual Operating Plan and the quarterly forecasting process.
- Analyze trends and activities in the budget compared to historical performance to assess if budget trends are realistic and attainable compared to past performance.
- Identify business trends and pinpoint areas for operational / financial action / oversight / improvement
- Responsible for creation and of monthly board meeting materials
- Assist with automation of data and files as needed.
- Proactively identify opportunities for the improvement and evolution of the future budgeting process
- Assist with ad-hoc projects for management as and when required.
