Account Manager

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with deep expertise in QuickBooks Enterprise to join our growing manufacturing team in Newark, Delaware. The ideal candidate will manage the full spectrum of accounting functions including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll processing, purchasing, and expense reporting. This is a hands-on role, integral to the financial health of our business operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain all accounting functions within QuickBooks Enterprise
• Oversee accounts receivable: generate invoices, monitor aging reports, and ensure timely collections
• Handle accounts payable: process vendor invoices, manage payment schedules, and reconcile bank statements
• Process payroll accurately and in compliance with relevant laws and internal policies
• Prepare and review manufacturers rep commission checks and sales reports, ensuring policy compliance and timely reimbursement
• Perform regular account reconciliations and maintain general ledger integrity
• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Assist with budget preparation, cash flow forecasting, and financial audits
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations
• Collaborate closely with operations and production teams to ensure accurate inventory data capture
• Continuously evaluate and improve accounting procedures and internal controls 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience; prior work in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise is required
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial principles
• Experience with payroll systems and multi-state payroll compliance
• Excellent Excel and financial analysis skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team
