Position Description
We are looking for an intern to assist with many business operations roles, primarily assisting the Laboratory Manager with accounting of the physical inventory, data entry, shipping, receiving and business operations tasks. A focus will be on digitizing the inventory system, but the summer will be filled with opportunities to learn about quantum hardware, procurement, and much more. We have in mind a student pursuing accounting, business operations, or data sciences as a career option, although motivated students of all backgrounds will be considered!

Duties and Responsibilities
- Data entry, database maintenance and design.
- Customizing the inventory system to respond to user needs.
- Assisting with procurement of items, storing received goods in inventory.
- Enrolled in high school or pursuing bachelor’s degree
- Great attention to detail
- Excellent written communication skills
- Ability to interface and communicate with various roles within the company
- Outside-the-box thinking to find solutions to complex operational issues.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous requests
- Experience in the inventory / PLM software, Odoo
- Experience with database management
- Beginner- or intermediate-level coding skills
