Description

As an Assembler, your primary responsibility will be to assemble and manufacture electronic components and devices. You will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring the accurate and efficient assembly of electronic circuits, systems, and devices. Your duties will involve interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions to assemble various electronic parts, such as resistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and other components.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assemble electronic components using hand tools and automated equipment.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure accurate placement and alignment of components.
  • Identify and report any defects or issues during the assembly process.
  • Surface mount and thru-hole soldering of components following industry standards.
  • Test assembled products for functionality and troubleshoot any operational issues.
  • Maintain and calibrate assembly equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Follow strict safety protocols and adhere to ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) guidelines.
  • Collaborate with engineers and production teams to improve assembly processes and product quality.
  • Keep detailed records of production activities and maintain inventory of electronic components.
  • Participate in training programs to stay updated on new assembly techniques and technologies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or vocational training in electronics is a plus.
  • Proven experience in electronics assembly, soldering, and using assembly equipment.
  • Familiarity with reading technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
  • Basic understanding of electronic components and their functions.
  • Knowledge of ESD precautions and safety measures in an electronics manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve assembly issues.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing production needs and schedules.

    20-25 / Hour
