Order Filler

We are looking to hire an energetic sample order filler to assist us in preparing sample kits for shipping. This person will utilize packing lists and order sheets to pick marketing items and books, place and arrange items in boxes to ship to our customers. They will check products for damage and defects, and confirm correct items and quantities are selected before sealing and accurately labeling boxes for shipment. To ensure success in this position you will need to perform to a high level of accuracy. Top candidates will be upstanding, organized and able to perform under pressure.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Finding and pulling items according to picking list or order form from sample areas
• Carefully and accurately pack and label for shipping products into boxes according to packing standards and guidelines
• Inspect products for any defects or damage before packing to ensure only high-quality goods are shipped to customers.
• Move materials and packages to established locations
• Taking part in company initiatives and meetings
• Managing stock control, including item replenishment and storage
• Communicating and working with other departments and company vendors regarding product inventory
• Performing general warehouse duties as necessary

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years prior relevant work experience
• Strong reading and communication (verbal and written) skills, fluent English is a must.
• Strong attention to detail is required
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks to meet production quota
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Must be comfortable working in a manufacturing facility
• Ability to pull, lift, reach and transport products and supplies.
• Ability to be physically agile and dexterous, and push up to 100 pounds

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
