What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Coordinator position at Quantum Graphics, Inc?
The primary role as material coordinator is to maintain the warehouse; this includes receiving, inventory/warehouse management, and shipping.
Description of Essential Duties:
Receiving
- Receive all shipments within 24 hours of delivery– check expected arrivals.
- Receive shipment in VeraCore (inventory management system) and assign location.
- Make sure a placard is printed for each receipt.
- Put away all receipts.
- Unload and sign for shipments.
Inventory/Warehouse
- Staging Manifests:
Maintain inventory control with correct staging pulls.
Pull items from warehouse and fill staging (first in, first out).
- Merge/Move Units Physically and in VeraCore.
- Assist in cycle counts and resolve cycle count discrepancy issues.
- Work with Fulfillment Lead when it is necessary to move products in VeraCore (from warehouse to staging and vice versa).
Shipping
- Shipping packages via USPS, UPS and FedEx.
- Prepare freight shipments.
Additional
- Assist with accurate order picking and packing for shipment.
- Assist with pack outs
- Organize warehouse aisles
- Disposals (warehouse items only)
- Help manage recycling
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Knowledge, skills and abilities required for performance of essential duties:
- Education: A High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- 1-2 Years of Warehouse Experience (Preferred)
- Mechanical Aptitude
- Basic Computer Skills
- Ability to work well with people and maintain positive team interactions.
- Ability to work independently
- Attention to detail
- Plan, prioritize, coordinate, and manage your own work
- Have a positive attitude

- Forklift
- Picker (Wave)
- Manual Pallet Jack
- Powered Pallet Jack
- Manual Dock Plate
- Ladder

Inside Quantum Graphics: Communicates regularly with other employees and supervisor.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands
- Position requires standing 50%, walking 45% and sitting 5% of work time. (Bend, twist, move, pushing and pulling.)
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, up to 75 pounds.
- Must be able to work an 8-hour shift
- May be required to work weekends as requested.
- Will be required to wear closed-toe shoes.
Hours:
7:00 am - 3:30 pm (Monday - Friday)
