Machine Operator Summary
Produce and package quality injection molded parts. Keeps track of quality problems and correct counts per hour. Responsible for assuring complete and accurate assemblies with zero defects.
Functions
- Removes plastic parts from injection molding machines or conveyors and inspects for quality defects.
- Trims, clips and assembles parts as specified by job operation sheets.
- Packages, labels, and stacks boxes on skids for shipping.
- Completes production reports as directed.
- Performs assembly or secondary operations as required and assists the team and rest of shift in any manner needed.
Physical Demands
May need to exert up to 30 lbs of force 20 -25 times a day to stack boxes.
