Patient Accounts Specialist
COMPANY OVERVIEW: We are a comprehensive medical billing and consulting service working with facilities and private practice providers located throughout the US. We have a spacious and comfortable work environment conveniently located near junction of 580 and 19 in Dunedin, FL.
DESCRIPTION OF THE POSITION:
- Claims preparation and submission-Primary Care / Internal Medicine
- Manage patient accounts receivable collections across multiple clients
- Review patient statements for accuracy and quality of data
- Virtual Client Scheduling Representative-works with patients by phone/email to schedule appts and collect required copays and balances due
- Participate in educational activities and monthly staff meetings.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of data; adhere to all HIPPA guidelines and regulations.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Minimum of 1 year previous medical billing/collection experience.
- Knowlege of primary care and preventive care coding
- Excellent computer skills and website navigation skills are essential.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Adobe PDF file management.
- Excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skills with a professional approach are required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
