Quantum Systems Inc. is a global leader in aerial intelligence and autonomous, AI-powered aerial robotics. We design, develop, manufacture and deliver eVTOL Unmanned Aircraft Systems UAS and an ecosystem of related products and services. Our business directly addresses the Defense and Security markets in North America, Asia Pacific and Latin America. We currently have an opening for Quality Technician I. This position will report to the Manager of Quality Control.
The Quality Technician I is responsible for performing quality inspections, tests, and audits to ensure products and processes meet company and regulatory standards. This role involves supporting the quality team in identifying and resolving quality issues, maintaining documentation, and assisting in continuous improvement initiatives.
Position Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of raw materials, in-process production, and finished products.
- Perform tests and measurements using calibrated instruments to verify product compliance.
- Document and report quality issues, deviations, and non-conformities.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for quality concerns.
- Assist in maintaining and updating quality control documentation and records.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards, industry regulations, and customer requirements.
- Work closely with production teams to ensure adherence to quality procedures.
- Participate in internal and external audits as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of quality control workspaces and equipment.
- Provide support in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in a related field is a plus.
- 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or quality assurance environment preferred.
- Basic understanding of quality control principles, inspection techniques, and measurement tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Must document any/all non-conformances encountered.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Familiarity with ISO standards and Lean/Six Sigma principles is a plus.

- Occasionally may be required to travel within the Continental U.S. and Internationally.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour
