Mission :
Quantum Technologies Inc. is seeking a qualified candidate to provide support as an AV site leader tech / Installer. This position is responsible for and in charge of all aspects of the preparation and installation of audio, video, and control systems and related site matters.
Responsibilities :
- Site leaders need to be flexible and capable of leading on-site audio / video integration projects.
- Essential duties include managing the site installation of speakers and cabling; building racks; crimping and soldering; planning and scheduling on-site travel; and coordinating personnel matters.
- Site leaders must maintain communication with superiors and co-workers at the corporate headquarters.
- Responsible for shipping and receiving at the site location, generating system layouts, inventory configurations, and packing lists, as well as daily interaction with customers.
- Site leaders are responsible for on-site training of field technicians, conducting customer training, and overseeing the sell-off of projects.
- Leads must exhibit a positive attitude, demonstrate strong teamwork, and time management skills. The ability to adapt to changing situations and the capacity to meet hard deadlines are valuable skills.
- Common physical demands include pulling wire and cable through conduits, lifting heavy loads, working on ladders and scaffolding, and operating in confined spaces like under tables or in equipment closets.
- Common work environments will be semi-complete renovation or construction sites, such as courtrooms, boardrooms, churches, etc. Extensive travel, often exceeding 60% of the time, will be required.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements :
Extensive travel will be required to complete installations at project sites. Travel percentage (nationwide) is estimated at 60% or more. Other requirements may be assigned as travel and contract requirements change.
