Job Description: Engineering Lead

Quantum Technology Group, LLC is seeking an Engineering Lead to manage all technical design efforts for implementing or improving IT services and support for the Army National Guard (ARNG) National Guard Bureau (NGB) National Capital Region (NCR) Network Enterprise Center (NEC) IT Support Services contract. This role is critical in driving the development of optimized IT solutions that enhance operational efficiencies and reduce total cost of ownership (TCO). Experience with the National Guard and/or defense-related programs is strongly preferred
Duties:
• Lead technical design and optimization efforts for ARNG NGB NCR NEC IT services and support.
• Design and implement Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solutions that meet mission-critical requirements.
• Develop and execute strategies to improve IT systems' operational efficiency and reduce TCO.
• Ensure technical designs align with DoD standards and cybersecurity requirements, including compliance with IAT/IAM Level III certifications.
• Collaborate with program managers, network engineers, and cybersecurity teams to integrate and improve IT service delivery.
• Provide technical oversight and expertise in the planning, development, and deployment of IT solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, ensuring alignment with the task order's requirements
Qualifications:
Required:
• Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level III or Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level III Certification. . IAT Level III (CASP CE, CCNP, CISA, or CISSP (or associate) IAM Level III CISM, CISSP (or associate) or CCISO
• ITIL Foundation Level Certification.
• A minimum of five years of experience designing and optimizing a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environment similar to ARNG NGB NCR NEC.
Desired:
• A minimum of five years of experience engineering IT solutions that deliver operational efficiencies and TCO improvements in an environment similar to the task order.
• A relevant educational degree in fields such as Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Experience supporting National Guard or defense-related programs.
Additional Requirements:
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must possess a Top-Secret security clearance.
