Quantum Technology Group, LLC is seeking a Network Services Manager to oversee Army National Guard (ARNG) National Guard Bureau (NGB) National Capital Region (NCR) Network Enterprise Center (NEC) IT services and support, with a primary focus on CAN and LAN operations. The Network Services Manager will ensure efficient and secure network management, maintaining the performance, reliability, and security of IT systems supporting the mission of the ARNG NGB NCR NEC. Experience with the National Guard and/or defense-related programs is strongly preferred.
Duties:
• Manage IT services and support for ARNG NGB NCR NEC, with a focus on CAN (Campus Area Network) and LAN (Local Area Network) operations.
• Ensure the performance, availability, and reliability of the network environment, aligning with ARNG NGB NCR NEC requirements.
• Implement and enforce security protocols and compliance with DoD standards.
• Develop and maintain network documentation, policies, and procedures to ensure consistent operations.
• Oversee network infrastructure, ensuring optimal configuration, performance monitoring, and proactive maintenance.
• Provide leadership in addressing network-related incidents, ensuring timely resolution and escalation when necessary.
• Support Continuity of Operations (COOP) by operating and maintaining network services for COOP sites as required.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and engineering teams to ensure network security and efficiency.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level III or Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level III Certification. IAT Level III (CASP CE, CCNP, CISA, or CISSP - IAM Level III CISM, CISSP or CCISO
• ITIL Foundation Level Certification.
• A minimum of five years of experience managing network services for a network environment similar to ARNG NGB NCR NEC.
Desired:
• A minimum of five years of experience operating and maintaining network services for COOP sites.
• A relevant educational degree in fields such as Network Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Experience supporting National Guard or defense-related programs.
Additional Requirements:
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must possess a Top-Secret security clearance.
