Job Description
Quantus is seeking a Certification Technician to perform onsite Certification Services in controlled environments across customer facilities. This role requires adherence to established procedures, industry best practices, and good documentation practices (GDP).
As a Certification Technician, you will report directly to the Certification Department Manager and work under general supervision. This position requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a customer-centric mindsetto deliver high-quality results while building lasting relationships with our customers.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist the Certification Team in performing a variety of certification tasks.
• Conduct Certification Services on controlled environment equipment, including but not limited to:
• Chemical Fume Hoods
• HEPA Filters
• Prepare and deliver detailed, accurate reports based on certification results for customer review.
• Identify deviations from established certification acceptance criteria and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
• Follow Quantus SOPs, Customer Procedures, and industry best practices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships by proactively offering additional support and leveraging Quantus’s knowledge base to meet customer needs.
Requirements
The job requirements for this position are as follows:
• Education: Associate degree or related technical certification preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 0–3 years in the Life Sciences Services Industry or a related field. Familiarity with controlled environment equipment and certification standards is a plus.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and email communication.
• Ability to learn and work within custom database and software applications.
• Interpersonal & Organizational Skills:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask efficiently and adapt to shifting priorities.
• Proactive with strong planning and organizational abilities.
• Capable of identifying and pitching process improvements.
• Safety & Physical Requirements:
• Must adhere to Safety Sensitive standards, requiring full and unimpaired skills and judgment to perform duties safely.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various physical positions, including bending, kneeling, sitting, and standing.
• Other Requirements:
• Reliable with a valid driver’s license.
• Must pass a drug and background check.
• Travel: Willingness to travel locally and regionally (Mid-Atlantic Region).
Salary : $45,000 - $55,000
