Job Description
PIPETTE CALIBRATION TECHNICIAN
We are seeking a skilled technician with 2-5 years of experience in calibration, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of pipettes and general volumetric devices. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in the standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the calibration field, capable of working under general supervision, and possesses a blend of analytical skills, creativity, and precision. Reporting to a supervisor or manager, you will be instrumental in delivering NIST Traceable calibration services and supporting the integrity of our clients' scientific endeavors.
Job Responsibilities
This position requires the Pipette Calibration Technician to provide onsite services, such as:
- Perform NIST Traceable calibration services for pipettes, bottle top dispensers, and other volumetric devices, ensuring adherence to established calibration standards.
- Participate in team projects and support calibration of general laboratory equipment, including analytical balances, freezers, incubators, refrigerators, and stability chambers.
- Ensure accurate measurement data reporting, following Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and industry best practices.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills, efficiently transitioning between tasks, demonstrating initiative, and contributing to process improvements.
- Adhere to Quantus, Inc. Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), customer-specific procedures, and industry best practices.
- Enhance customer relationships by offering exceptional service and leveraging our company's expertise to support their calibration and maintenance programs.
Requirements
- Must be computer literate, MacOS, proficient in Microsoft office, email, and can learn to work within custom database and software applications, to perform routine job duties.
- At least 1 YEAR of related experience in the LifeScience Services Industry, related field, or education;
- Experience with GMP/GDP
- Must be able to lift 50Lbs, work on equipment bending, kneeling, sitting, and/or standing;
- Valid Drivers License
- Travel: local
- Must be able to pass a drug and background check
- Location: Blue Bell, PA HUB, servicing the surrounding region

Schedule:
- Standard Work Week: Monday through Friday, 8-hours (8am to 4pm)
- Weekends as Needed: It is unusual for us to work on weekends; however, if work is needed outside of our normal Monday through Friday hours, additional pay is provided at an overtime rate.
