OVERVIEW :
Mu client is seeking a dedicated Electrical Engineer to join their close-knit team. This role involves ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our customers electrical systems under the direction of the Engineering Manager. Responsibilities include electrical design, power system analysis, project management, and providing technical support.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Arc Flash Analysis : Perform and / or provide oversight for short circuit calculations, medium and low-voltage coordination evaluations to optimize protective relay and breaker settings, and arc flash studies in compliance with NFPA, IEEE 1584, and other industry standards. Perform on-site data collection activities, as needed
- Safety Compliance : Ensure adherence to relevant codes and standards
- Documentation and Reporting : Prepare engineering documents (e.g., drawings, sketches, instructions, inputs, calculations, analyses, evaluations) according to industry codes, standards, and regulations to support client engineering needs
