POSITION SUMMARY:
To provide clerical and administrative support to the Quapaw Nation Gaming Agencys Licensing Department in the performance of its mission with honesty, integrity, and strictest confidentiality and to assist the QNGA licensing staff in carrying out day-to day activities. The Licensing Clerk is responsible for providing administrative support and assistance services to the licensing staff of the QNGA.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Provide support to the licensing staff of the QNGA by completing duties assigned by the QNGA Manager of Licensing & Enforcement and/or the QNGA Director.
- Send and complete vendor and employee license and registration verification request forms.
- Perform and record reference checks of the licensing department.
- Route communications to the licensing department to the appropriate personnel.
- Complete data entry within databases and systems of the Licensing Department.
- Establish and maintain files/records and logs for the QNGA licensing department, including scanning of files and documents.
- Establish and maintain physical inventory for the QNGA Licensing Department.
- Assist QNGA licensing staff in copying, filing, messenger, and other related tasks.
- Retrieve documents in filing cabinets and vault.
- Assist QNGA office staff in protecting the privacy of employees, licensees, and vendors.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
NON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
May attend professional meetings, pertinent workshops and serve on organization wide and professional committees.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
The Quapaw Nations Motor Vehicle Policy. Must be able to work flexible days and hours and have reliable transportation. Must be highly organized and capable of maintaining orderly and easily accessible files. Must have excellent typing to meet the demands of assigned duties and be able to use a PC and software such as Windows, Microsoft Office. Must possess data entry and retrieval skills. Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality.
Experience/Education: Must have a high school diploma /GED and a minimum of one-year of clerical/ administrative experience. Educational and professional experience requirements may be waived based on any combination of education, professional training, or business experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of this position.

The gaming agency staff shall refrain, at all times, from participating in any gaming activities at the casino or any other gaming establishment under the Gaming Agency authority and shall not handle any matter in which an applicant or subject is a member of his or her immediate family or is an entity in which he or she has a pecuniary interest.
