What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Manager position at Quartz Transport?
Quartz needs an energetic, confident, ambitious business development representative to help grow the construction business. This is a part time role, but it can easily transition into full time. The demand for our services is ripe for the picking, and we need someone who can dive in head first and help grow our business.
This is a sales and business development role. You would be growing our business by making calls and in person visits to potential customers, which are manufactured home sales centers, park communities, park developers, and disaster relief (Hurricane Helene) organizations. Our business is turnkey mobile home installations, where we handle the complete installation from permitting until certificate of occupancy.
You don't need to know much about manufactured homes in advance, it's not rocket science and it can be taught. You will need to know what you are talking about before pursuing prospects, because if you don't they will be able to sniff it out, so naturally we'll have to train you and educate you on the business and industry at first.
The base pay is low but the variable pay is intentionally high and extremely achievable. I want to motivate someone to deliver and flourish for Quartz. The average deal size is $30,000 to $45,000. A recurring customer can have a few of these jobs recurring each month, which you can get a commission on.

- Initiate, nurture, develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outbound and warm calling strategies.
- Utilize Salesforce CRM software to track sales activities and manage customer interactions effectively.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in English and exceptional communication skills
- Proven customer service and sales experience
- Expertise in negotiation and B2B sales
- Familiarity with telemarketing and technology sales
- Experience with Salesforce and CRM software preferred
- Background in sales and outbound calling
- Ability to conduct warm calling and implement effective marketing strategies
