Purpose of the Position
This is pivotal role, responsible for driving the company's growth by identifying and securing business opportunities with Global Tier1 / Tier2 OEMs (New Account) in the interventional medical device space. This position aims to expand Quasar's global market presence, enhance revenue streams, and establish long-term strategic partnerships. The successful candidate will leverage their extensive industry network, business acumen, and leadership skills to achieve sales targets, close first purchase orders with new accounts, and contribute to the overall strategic direction of the company.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to achieve sales targets and expand Quasar's market presence.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with Global Tier1 / Tier2 OEMs in the interventional medical device space.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Lead and mentor a team of business development professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of business development initiatives.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
- Represent Quasar at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
- Travel domestically and internationally, as required, to nurture client relationships, attend meetings, and explore new opportunities.
- Be flexible and available for calls outside of regular office hours to accommodate global time zones.
