Nonprofit Senior Accounting Manager

Quatrro Business Support Services is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager for our not-for-profit division. The Senior Accounting Manager is responsible for managing the full-cycle accounting functions of multiple clients. This role can be fully remote within the U.S. but does require working Central Standard Time (CST) hours, as you will be working closely with clients in the Chicagoland area. Eligible candidates must live in the United States to be considered. Responsibilities :   Serves as the primary contact for multiple, large, complex accounts Delivers accurate and timely financial statements, providing coaching and counseling to stakeholders and operations managers Owns and manages the clients' monthly financial statements, plans, and schedules. Leads the budget process and incorporates periodic analytics Builds and maintains successful relationships with clients and key stakeholders, providing them with world-class customer service and consulting Works closely with clients to solve issues related to complicated financial statement situations Monitors finances to aid clients functioning within those guidelines and provides financial analysis and advice to clients Provides best practices within Quatrro to help the client improve their business execution  Coordinates with other internal Quatrro teams for consultative support on all financial services Accesses and contributes to the organization’s subject matter expertise objectives Provides leadership, mentoring, and guidance to cross-functional teams aligned to a particular client delivery process Addresses client concerns and issues to ensure they are resolved promptly Provides executive-level partnership by presenting Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) with division AVP.  Participates as requested by the client in executive-level meetings Qualifications : Educational Background and Experience : 4-year degree in accounting, finance, or business with an accounting / finance focus (or equivalent knowledge / experience) 5  years of accounting experience 1 years of managerial experience leading a team / direct reports Proven experience being client-facing and overseeing multiple client accounts Ability to manage multiple priorities and functions Skilled in working cross-functionally and collaboratively with multiple teams and clients Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Advanced knowledge of industry-specific accounting software and advanced Excel skills   Well-versed in the grant administration and management of federal, state, and local grant funding Business acumen and ability to communicate with key stakeholders and C-level executives Growth mindset Proven ability to manage a team and delegate responsibilities Nice to Have :     CPA / CMA preferred Experience in both public and private sectors About Quatrro : Quatrro is a technology-enabled, cloud-based outsourcing firm to small, mid, and large enterprises across industries that’s changing the way companies think about finance, accounting, and technology services.
