Description
- Responsible for daily housekeeping duties and sanitation tasks
- Responsible for project work assigned by Sanitation Supervisor
- Take all necessary precautions and procedures to avoid contamination of product when cleaning near exposed products, ingredients and food contact surfaces
- Required to keep housekeeping cart readily available and stocked to ensure frequent and adequate cleaning of restrooms, cafeteria, and offices.
- Responsible for maintaining clean tools. Keep tools clean and stored in designated storage locations between use
- Responsible for following Housekeeping Cart/Chemical Control procedure
- Responsible for required daily documentation of housekeeping task completed
- Waste should be removed from facility as needed
- Responsible for communicating any issues with the operation of sinks, toilets, soap dispensers, etc. to Sanitation supervisor
- Responsible for all housekeeping and sanitation tasks inside and outside building
- Follow all company’s GMP procedures
- Follow all company Color Code procedures
- Know where emergency STOP and START/STOP buttons are located
- Responsible for following all Lock Out / Tag Out procedures for machines when necessary
- Performs all special requests by the Sanitation Supervisor
Qualifications
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Work requires some physical strain such as long periods of standing, bending, climbing, and lifting over head. Must be able to lift approximately 40 pounds over head.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Working around, powered equipment, and slippery floors and dusty areas. Very hot conditions during summer seasons. Company issued protective clothing such as uniform, gloves, and safety glasses are required. Every employee must provide their own slip resistant shoes to comply with our company safety policy
