Position Description:

The Maintenance Technician performs general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities.

Salary :

$18.75 – $22.00 Hourly

Responsibilities

· Inspect and identify equipment or machines in need of repair

· Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs

· Plans repair work using building’s blueprints or equipment manual as needed.

· Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures.

· Performs routine maintenance on building systems.

· Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities.

· All QubicaAMF employees are expected to perform any assignment or job task according to the stated safety policies & procedures.

· Other responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor or manager.

Required Education, Experience and Skills

*Welding and Fabrication

*Industrial Manufacturing maintenance experience

· Ability to read basic instruction and safety manuals

· Basic computer skills

· Ability to use hand and power tools

· Strong analytical and problem solving skills

· Excellent time management skills

· Demonstrated self-motivation and the ability to work independently

Preferred Education and Experience

· High School Diploma or GED

· Welding and Fabricating certificate

· Previous experience in related field preferred

· Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment

Working Conditions

· Ability to constantly stand/walk; bend/flex/extend neck; frequently grip/reach/lift/pull with L/R hands.

· Ability to frequently handle material from floor-to-waist, waist-to-shoulder and pushing/pulling/carrying.

· Must be physically able to climb ladders and climb stairs on the silo

· Product weight: up to 50 lbs.

· Fast-paced production environment with average temperature of 55 – 90 degrees F.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.75 - $22.00 per hour
