We want to add a 1st Shift IHM Paint Floater to the QubicaAMF team at our Mechanicsville location.
The 1st Shift IHM Paint Floater's responsibilities will include operating various tools and equipment to prep parts for products to be ready for the next phase of completion.
Essential Functions
- Hand and power tools are used to deburr and prep parts.
- Ability to read and understand prints.
- Use of measuring devices such as calipers, protractors, and squares.
- Runs machines, including Drill press, PEM inserting machine, and belt sanders.
- Repetitively hang 25 lbs parts onto the paint line according to the specifications.
- Carefully place painted parts from line to pallets, keeping accurate counts without damaging parts.
- Be a team player in an environment where success is on the group, not an individual.
- Achieves production efficiency and quality standards.
- Maintains a clean and safe work area.
- Rotates workstations according to business and production needs.
- Adheres to work schedules.
- Ability to work 6 : 00 a.m. - 4 : 30 p.m., Monday - Thursday, and Mandatory OT on Friday when required.
- Follows company policies regarding attendance, overtime, cell phone use, breaks, and smoking.

Work environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a warehouse environment where higher levels of noise, dust, and activity can be expected. This is a non-temperature-controlled warehouse where temperatures can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. There is frequent exposure to moving parts.
Physical Demands
The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.
