Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including equipment and utensils.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register or Toast POS system.
- Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, restocking as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies.
- Assist in setting up for banquets or special events as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
Skills
- Proficient in bartending techniques with knowledge of brewing processes.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and food handling regulations.
- Excellent hospitality skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for guests.
- Familiarity with cash register operations and basic math skills for accurate transaction handling.
- Experience with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
