What are the responsibilities and job description for the Promotions Coordinator position at Quechan Indian Tribe Of Fort Yuma?
Under direct supervision of the Promotions Manager, assists with development and implementation of marketing projects and activities for Marketing services. Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information.
- Plan, develop, and implement all property promotions and events in collaboration with the team.
- Assist with the logistical details of artist and show production, including food, transportation, and other needs as required.
- Coordinate promotional event details, such as ordering products, displaying items, and managing the setup and teardown of giveaways.
- Work with cross-property teams to ensure promotions and events are executed consistently across locations.
- Support box office operations, including ticketing procedures, accounting, and issue resolution.
- Create and distribute internal and external communications related to entertainment, promotions, events, and employee updates.
- Manage administrative tasks such as creating purchase orders, maintaining files, and ensuring accurate billing through proper GL coding.
- Attend and oversee the execution of entertainment events, promotions, and property-wide activities.
- Handle the logistics of decorations, props, and rental items, ensuring timely delivery and return.
- Maintain and secure all event-related documentation, including winners' forms and reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Support company management through special projects as needed.
- Run errands related to events, including gathering photos, materials, and props.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the effectiveness and areas for improvement.
- Perform regular audits of coupons and other promotional materials.
- Foster strong relationships with vendors to ensure smooth collaboration and delivery of promotional materials.
- Develop clear and concise promotional rules, procedures, and internal communications for staff.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, industry standards, and practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Seeking a candidate who enjoys a fun fast environment within a casino marketing environment with flexibility to work a variety of hours. Minimum qualifications included High School Diploma or GED required, [refer associates degree in marketing, or related field. At least two (2) years experience in event planning, entertainment or promotions execution experience required to include strong organizational and multitasking skills with an ability to manage multiple events simultaneously. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred. Must be 21 years of age and must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, background investigation to obtain and maintain gaming license in California and Arizona. Native American preference and/or experience with Native American culture and government preferred. Tribal preference will be given to qualified Tribal members.
