DEALER TRAINEE
Queen Baton Rouge’s next Table Games Dealer School is now taking applicants to join our team and learn the ins and outs of Blackjack and other table games as a first step to a career as a table games Dealer. After completing the 6-8 week course, successful candidates will be promoted to Dealer upon passing a dealing audition.

- Deals Blackjack accurately
- Engages with guests while dealing
- Addresses guest players with a polite, courteous and welcoming demeanor
- Adheres to company and departmental policies and procedures
- Adheres to state regulations as it relates to this position
- Maintains game security and protects company assets at all times
- Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills – must be a people person with an outgoing personality who enjoys dealing with the public
- Enjoys working in a loud, exciting environment
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a State Gaming License.
- Must have the ability to stand and deal assigned game for a minimum of 60 minutes.
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
- Must have ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds (e.g., machinery alarms, medical codes or alarms).
- Must have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned or to make general observations of facilities or structures.
- Must be able to successfully complete the Dealer training school and pass the dealing audition, with the ability to learn proper game procedures when dealing Blackjack and/or any other games that are taught in Dealer training.
